What Wakewatch does

Wakewatch keeps your computer or display awake using Chrome's official power API, optionally switching itself off after a timer you choose. Everything happens locally inside your browser.

Data collection

Wakewatch collects no personal data.
Wakewatch collects no browsing history.
Wakewatch uses no analytics or telemetry of any kind.
Wakewatch makes no network requests to any server.

Local settings

Your current mode, timer state and last used duration are stored using Chrome's extension storage on your device only.

Permissions explained

power: Chrome's official API to keep the system or display awake. This is the extension's core function.
alarms: used for the auto-off timer and the badge countdown.
storage: saves your settings locally.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
