PassPeek – Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 28, 2026

Short version: PassPeek does not collect, store, or transmit any data – and it never reads your password values.

What PassPeek does

PassPeek toggles the display mode of password fields on web pages (between hidden dots and plain text) based on a trigger you choose. This is a purely visual change inside the page, performed locally.

Data collection

Local settings

Your trigger preference and per-site disable list are stored using Chrome's extension storage. If you are signed into Chrome, Chrome may sync these settings across your own devices – this is done by Chrome, not by us.

Permissions explained

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
